Replacement Temporary Graduate visa applications will open in July 2022. From 1 July 2022, current and former Temporary Graduate visa holders who’ve been affected by the Covid-19 travel restrictions in Australia might apply for a replacement Temporary Graduate Visa.
Temporary Graduate Visa Replacement Stream
To be eligible for a replacement Temporary Graduate visa you must:
- hold a valid Temporary Graduate visa or
- have previously held a Temporary Graduate visa that expired on or after 1 February 2020 and
- have been outside Australia at any time between 1 February 2020 and 15 December 2021.
Applicants who meet above requirements must pay the full Visa Application Charge of AUD 1,680 and provide supporting documents.
Staying in Australia: Applicants will receive the same length of stay as your original visa, as per the level of qualification, regardless of how long was spent in Australia on the original visa.
Visa extensions
Temporary Graduate visa holders who are eligible for a replacement Temporary Graduate visa will get the 485 Visa Extension or renewal to 30 September, 2022. It allowed eligible Temporary Graduate visa holders to enter or remain in Australia to live and work until they can apply for and receive a replacement Temporary Graduate visa.
