Southern Cross University offers two special scholarships for international students starting in 2024.

30th Anniversary Scholarship
Campus: Any students commencing their degree in 2024 at Gold Coast, and Coffs Harbour campuses
Scholarship: $10,000 / first year
Application deadline: May 31, 2024
Application process: The student’s eligibility for the scholarship will be assessed by the Southern Cross Admissions Team when the application is considered. If the qualifications are met, the student will be informed in the offer letter with the conditions of the scholarship. No separate application is required.
Requirements:
- Start undergraduate or postgraduate studies in the third semester at the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campuses in July 2024. (Excluding Quota program Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood, Master of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing)
- Meet the university’s entry requirements and genuine temporary entry requirements. When you apply to Southern Cross University, your qualifications will be assessed by the Southern Cross Admissions Team.
- Study on a student visa.
- Pass all courses for each semester and meet program and student visa requirements.
- Apply between Friday, March 1 and Wednesday, May 1 at 12 noon and accept the offer by May 31, 2024.
- Do not hold any other Southern Cross University scholarships.
- Please note that this scholarship is limited to 100 places.
- Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are not eligible.
Note: The value of the scholarship is a $10,000 fee waiver for the first year and a $8,000 fee waiver for subsequent years, which is based on 8 credits per year for full-time international students.
This scholarship is only available to international fee-paying students. It does not apply to courses offered by SCU Ventures, The Hotel School or Keypath Education.
30th Anniversary Academic Excellence Scholarship
Campus: Any students commencing their degree in 2024 at Gold Coast, and Coffs Harbour campuses
Scholarship: $15,000 maximum fee reduction for first-year tuition
Requirements:
- Start undergraduate or postgraduate studies in the third semester at the Gold Coast, Lismore or Coffs Harbour campuses in July 2024. (Excluding Quota programs Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood, Master of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing) .
- Academic performance above the minimum admission requirements of the university. When a student applies to Southern Cross University, the Southern Cross Admissions team will assess the student based on their academic background.
- Study on a student visa.
- Pass all courses for each semester and meet program and student visa requirements.
- Apply between Friday, March 1 and Wednesday, May 1 at 12 noon and accept the offer by May 31, 2024.
- Do not hold any other Southern Cross University scholarships.
- Please note that this scholarship is limited to 100 places.
