Guide to Australia 600 Tourist Visa Materials List

The Visitor Visa Category 600 allows an applicant to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes for a maximum of three, six or twelve months at a time.

The applicant may specify the number of visits and length of stay he/she wishes to make in the application. However, the visa officer will issue a visa according to the individual circumstances of the applicant. This may be a single entry visa (allowing the visa holder to visit Australia once within a specified period of time) or a multiple entry visa (allowing the visa holder to visit Australia multiple times within a 12-month validity period, but staying in Australia for no more than 3 months at a time).

Under normal circumstances, this visa cannot be used to stay in Australia for more than 12 months, nor can it be used for long-term residence in Australia.

Material preparation list

The visa preparation materials must be authentic and adequate. In addition to the required materials, it is recommended that you submit supporting materials as well. Under normal circumstances, if there is a lack of materials when submitting visa application, the Immigration Bureau will remind you to submit supplementary materials, but in some cases, the Immigration Bureau will not remind the supplementary documents and directly refuse the visa, thus leaving a visa rejection history because of incomplete materials.

  • ID

Passports and national ID cards are required to be printed in color, and the passport should be scanned and copied to the first page, the last page, all exit records and stickers.

  • Financial assurance

Proof of funds is the most frequently asked in visa application. The applicant can provide a copy of bank passbook or certificate of deposit, or the original certificate of bank deposit. It is safe to have more than A$10,000 to prove that he or she has enough funds to support the expenses of traveling in Australia.

It is recommended that you go to the bank to issue an official certificate within six months for the statement of bank account. It is only acceptable to provide the official original.

  • Personnel category

The identity of tourist visa application is also the key to successful visa application. In view of the recent security at home and abroad, unemployed people will require more additional information to show the purpose of coming to Australia, and the Australian Immigration and Immigration Department will resolutely stifle cross-border illegal labor activities in Australia.

Active employees are required to provide employment certificates in both Chinese and English printed on regular company letterhead paper and affixed with company seal.

Current students should provide a copy of their student ID card and a certificate from their school, while fresh graduates should provide a copy of their graduation certificate or admission letter.

  • Applicants under 18 years old

Visa applicants under the age of 18 are required to provide a copy of their birth certificate.

If you are going to Australia with your parents, you need to provide a copy of your parents’ ID card and contact number. If you are traveling with non-immediate family members other than your parents, you need to provide the power of attorney and capital contribution certificate issued by both parents, and agree that the relative will take the minor children to travel in Australia.

  • Applicants aged 75 or above

The visa officer will notify the applicant by telephone or email to the designated location for medical examination. Please bring the original ID card, the copy of the first page of your passport and the physical examination sheet.

The physical examination sheet is also a health certificate required by some airlines. The report includes electrocardiogram, heart rate and blood pressure, respiratory examination, etc., and is sealed and signed by medical units and doctors.
